Clothes repairs, alterations and other tailoring needs are the main services here at The Workshop.
We are generally able to repair most garments and fabrics, however it is always beneficial for us to see garments in person to establish how the repairs can be achieved.

The Workshop is located at 2C Ewhurst Road, SE4 1AQ.
Where can I park?
There is free residential parking in the area and more than three side roads.
Do I need to make a booking?
Walk-ins are accepted, but it is best to book in for a fitting.
How do I make a booking?
You can use our online system where you will find all of our available dates and times.
Please bring a pair of suitable shoes for dress or trouser hem shortenings.
Can more than one person come to a fitting?
Put simply - yes! Each booking is limited to two people and lasts thirty minutes.

How long will the alterations take?
General 1 week
Bridal 4 weeks minimum
Bespoke 4-8 weeks

In conjunction with Lewisham & Deptford Sewing Machines UK, we act as the drop-off point for machines needing repair. The collection is made on Wednesday at midday and returned to us after being serviced. They will contact you directly when it is ready to be picked up from us.
