We offer expert clothing repairs, alterations, and tailoring services. Bring your garments in and we'll advise on the best approach.

Where do I park? / Is there parking?
Free residential parking is available locally, with additional spaces on nearby side roads.
How do I make a booking? / Do I need to book?
We now operate by appointment only.
Please book a fitting via our online booking system for garments that need to be tried on (e.g., dress/tailoring adjustments).
Walk-ins are welcome for simple repairs and alterations that don’t require trying on, subject to availability.
Appointments are essential during peak times (such as Christmas and summer).
Do I need to bring anything?
For dress or trouser shortenings, please bring a pair of suitable shoes to ensure accurate adjustments.
Do you do group fittings?
Yes – we accommodate up to two people per 30-minute appointment.
For group fittings of three or more, please email us at theworkshop.clothing@gmail.com to make arrangements.
How long will it take?
General alterations: approx. 1 week
Bridal alterations: minimum 4 weeks
Bespoke tailoring: 4–8 weeks
